Days of Science - 2015

Alfred Nobel University, Dnipropetrovsk, supports and encourages youth in research and creative work, in particular through the Days of Science . In the current academic year the Days of Science were held from 18 March to 4 April 2015. Within the framework of Days of Science  12 practical science and research events took place, in particular: Nobel Readings, 5 international conferences, 5 all-Ukraininan conferences, 1 regional conference for young researchers, undergraduate and postgraduate students.

This year 50 students of 9 specializations, in particular: the Department of International Economics and Economic Theory (17 papers), the Department of Marketing (6), the Department of Merchandising and Commercial Business (7), the Department of Business Economics and International Business (2), the Department of International Finance and Banking (2), the Department of International Accounting and Auditing (4), the Department of Economic Cybernetics and Information Technologies (4), the Department of Innovation Management and International Logistics (1), the Department of Law (2), English Philology and Translation Department (5) took part in the Nobel Readings, which were held within the framework of the 5th Nobel contest.

International Scientific Conferences - 2015

The number of participants in the scientific and practical conferences was about 700 people, 110  of them foreigners. Among the participants were representatives of Ukrainian universities from all regions, in particular:

We should also mention the scientific and practical conference "TheYouth of  Ukraine in the Context of Cross-Cultural Communication ", which was held on 2 April 2015. Representatives of the OSCE took part in this conference.

All the departments which organised the conference prepared and published a collection of abstracts of reports and certificates of participation in the conference.

Results in brief

Days of Science have been held at Alfred Nobel University, Dnipropetrovsk for 12 years.
12 practical science events took place: 5 international conferences, 5 all Ukrainian conferences ,  1 regional scientific and practical conference and 1 Nobel contest as well.
1048 students and young researchers from 140 Ukrainian and foreign universities took part.
763 undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as young researchers from Alfred Nobel University took part.
Students from universities in the USA, Germany, England, Montenegro, Italy, Cyprus, Congo, the Czech Republic, Nigeria, Great Britain, Poland, the Russian Federation, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, China, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkmenistan, and Ukraine were participants in practical research activities of the Days of Science 2015.
14 students were awarded with certificates of appreciation for active participation in Days of Science 2015.
17 teachers were awarded with certificates of appreciation for the preparation of students for the Nobel contest.
The staff of 18 departments and structural divisions were awarded with certificates of appreciation for their highly professional  organization, implementation and support for the practical research events held within the framework of  Days of Science 2015.
