In recent years, the development of joint and double degrees with leading European institutions has increasingly been perceived as one of the most beneficial experiences of studying at Alfred Nobel University. By the way, these programmes have already provided good learning outcomes and they always look to promote awareness among society about their development, growth and unique life-style.

STUDENTS OF THESE PROGRAMMES ARE ELIGIBLE

The programme is available to 4-th year undergraduates and Master’s students. Studies are conducted in the formed group.

Our partner Wyższa Szkoła Humanitas University (Wyrozniona Ministerstwa Nauki I Szkolnictwa Wyzszego) is a well-known university of Silesia (Poland) and offers BA and MA degrees recognized both in the EU and beyond.

Language of studies –  English.

Upon completing their studies along with a degree from Alfred Nobel University in their chosen programme students will receive a degree from Wyższa Szkoła Humanitas University in other specialization, providing the best employment prospects in the context of intense competition in the labour market in Europe and beyond.

The programme is implemented by the English Philology and Translation department according to the academic cooperation agreement concluded between Alfred Nobel University and Wyższa Szkoła Humanitas University.

The integral part of the programme is the mastery of academic disciplines (MA-level) both from the curriculum of Alfred Nobel University and the Humanitas University, some of which are taught here at Alfred Nobel University and the rest – at the Humanitas University.

Teachers who conduct teaching, are agreed upon by two universities.

During the first visit in September students sign the learning agreement, attend lectures and classes in the Humanitas University. First year master’s students of Alfred Nobel University are enrolled to the first year of MA studies at the Humanitas University. At the Humanitas University students from Alfred Nobel University are registered as students of the Humanitas University. They receive their ID cards, opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ Programme and have access to Moodle. Upon completion of MA studies and award of the degrees in Ukraine, students undertake examinations and defend their theses at the Humanitas University.

To apply you need to be a holder of the Bachelor degree in Philology (specialization «English Language and Literature», «Interpreting and Translation», «Applied Linguistics»).

The programme is implemented by the Law department according to the academic cooperation agreement concluded between Alfred Nobel University and Wyższa Szkoła Humanitas University.

In this programme the credits are transferred between academic disciplines (BA-level) from the curriculum of Alfred Nobel University and the Humanitas University. On this basis the difference in academic requirements is calculated. For that, some subjects will be taught here at Alfred Nobel University and the rest – at the Humanitas University.

Teachers who conduct teaching, are agreed upon by two universities, the language of teaching is Russian.

During the first visit in September students sign the learning agreement, attend lectures and classes in the Humanitas University. First year master’s students of Alfred Nobel University are enrolled to the end of the second year of MA studies at the Humanitas University. At the Humanitas University students from Alfred Nobel University are registered as students of the Humanitas University. They receive their ID cards, opportunity to participate in the Erasmus+ Programme and have access to Moodle. Upon completion of MA studies and award of the degrees in Ukraine, students undertake examinations and defend their theses at the Humanitas University.

Language of studies – English.

Upon completing their studies, along with a degree from Alfred Nobel University in their chosen programme students will receive BA degree in English Philology from University of Occupational Safety Management in Katowice, providing the best employment prospects in the context of intense competition in the labour market and the opportunity to continue studies in the universities of Europe and beyond.

The programme is implemented by the English Philology and Translation department according to the academic cooperation agreement concluded between Alfred Nobel University and University of Occupational Safety Management in Katowice.

In this programme the credits are transferred between academic disciplines (BA-level) from the curriculum of Alfred Nobel University and the WSZOP. On this basis the difference in academic requirements is calculated, which is 6 academic disciplines. For that, some subjects will be taught here at Alfred Nobel University and the rest – at WSZOP.

Teachers who conduct teaching, are agreed upon by two universities.

The language of teaching is English.

Upon completion of MA studies and award of the degrees in Ukraine, in July students undertake examinations and defend their theses at WSZOP.

To apply you need to be a holder of the certificate of secondary education.
A certificate of English is not necessary.

MA DEGREE PROGRAMME WITH University of Occupational Safety Management in Katowice

«Management of international projects»

The programme:

  • Official name is «Management of international projects» (such name will be in the Polish diploma)
  • Applicants study in the MA programme «Management» at Alfred Nobel University
  • List of disciplines to be studied in Poland:
  1. Analysis of business-project environment
  2. Project team management
  3. Process management
  4. Standards of Project Management
  5. Project Management Support Tools
  6. Negotiations/Communications in Project Management
  7. Designing project management system
  8. Master's seminar (preparation of theoretical part of master's thesis)

Programme outcomes

  • Students receive European MA degree in specialization «Management of international projects» and a degree from Alfred Nobel University in «Management»
  • Graduated will have wide opportunities for employment in European enterprises

Main benefits of the programme are the following:

  • Exclusiveness, which consists in that it was designed specifically for students of Alfred Nobel University, taking into account the schedule of study process and the study programme
  • Successful experience of implementation during 4 years (more than 40 diplomas were awarded)
  • The program is very compact and involves two obligatory visits to Polish university for up to two weeks each
  • In this programme the difference in academic requirements is calculated, which means that two universities have agreed on their study programmes and optimized the number of additional disciplines to be studied (currently there are 7 academic disciplines and MA thesis defence in Poland)
  • During studies, students from Alfred Nobel University have full rights of students of WSZHOP. They receive student cards and student record books
  • WSZOP makes an effective contribution to obtaining a Polish visa
  • WSZHOP is located in one of the most developed and dynamic regions of Poland - Silesia having a high concentration of potential employers
  • WSZHOP contributes to the employment of students at various enterprises in Poland and Europe (10 graduates of this programme are already employed in European enterprises or international organizations operating in Ukraine)
  • Opportunity to undertake practical training (internship) at enterprises in Silesia
  • On a competitive basis, applicants receive Erasmus+ scholarship which covers tuition costs

  2. Admission to the University of Occupational Safety Management in Katowice - October
  3. The first mandatory visit to Katowice - January
  4. Visit to Katowice in June-July with the opportunity of internship/practical training - optional
  5. MA thesis defence in Alfred Nobel University - January of the following year
  6. The second mandatory visit to Katowice - January-February, MA thesis defence in the University of Occupational Safety Management
