From 8 ^th to 10 ^th April, Alfred Nobel University was inspected by the experts of the Еuropean Сouncil for Вusiness Еducation (ECBE).

ECBE reaccredited the МВА programme

The purpose of the visit of ECBE’s international experts was to reaccredit the МВА programme and confirm its compliance with the European standards of business education, which will guarantee students and graduates the highest quality of education, compliance with international standards of business education and international recognition of the МВА diploma.

ECBE’s accreditation is obtained for a certain period of time, at the expiry of which the accredited programmes pursue the reaccreditation procedure and confirm their compliance with world standards in the business education field. Approval of the МВА programme by ЕСВЕ’s experts guarantees graduates of the International Business School (IВS) at Alfred Nobel University a high quality business education.

The experts of the Еuropean Сouncil for Вusiness Еducation included the following members:

• Professor Bob Johnson (UK), Chair of the Board of Commissioners of ECBE, Chair of the Pool of Reviewers of ECBE. This was his fourth visit to Alfred Nobel University.
• Professor Tornike Khoshtaria (Republic of Georgia), Reviewer of ECBE, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Technologies at the European University, Affiliate Member of Harvard Business School and Member of Chartered Institute of Marketing.
• Matthew Kitching (Scotland). He is a student reviewer of ECBE, as he is currently studying on the МВА programme at the Edinburgh Business School. Matthew is also an expert on education quality, a trained reviewer of ENQA and the European University Association.

During their visit, the experts met with Borys Kholod, President of Alfred Nobel University, and with the team of the International Business School (IBS). They also held a series of meetings with the МВА’s graduates and current students, as well as working on the documentation. The experts were favourably impressed by the organisation of studies at the IBS and at Alfred Nobel University as a whole.

The МВА programme of the IBS at Alfred Nobel University is the best in Ukraine, which is confirmed by its successful passing of international accreditation procedures. It should be mentioned that the МВА programme has already been accredited by the German accreditation agency “ZEvA”.

The Accreditation by ЕСВЕ and Alfred Nobel University

January 2013 was the first time when ЕСВЕ’s international experts visited Alfred Nobel University. The first certificate of accreditation for the МВА programme, valid until 2016, was received in May 2013 in Vienna (Austria) at ЕСВЕ’s official ceremony.

This event was preceded by the visit of the ЕСВЕ’s executive director Bryan Holden and Professor Vladimir Burenin, member of ЕСВЕ’s Board of Directors, who subsequently became honoured professors of Alfred Nobel University. As a result of the visit, a decision was made to pursue the procedure of international accreditation by ЕСВЕ.

In November 2015, ЕСВЕ’s international experts visited Alfred Nobel University again. Based on the results of the meetings, analysis of the programme structure, the core academic staff, the content of final projects and achievements of the graduates, the European experts made a decision to reaccredit the МВА programme of the IBS until June 2019.

This latest reaccreditation by the world-renowned ЕСВЕ accreditation agency has confirmed the compliance of the МВА programme of Alfred Nobel University with the European standards of business education. As a result of the visit, the experts headed by Professor Bob Johnson recognized the high level of organisation of studies on the МВА programme of the International Business School at Alfred Nobel University.
