Welcome to the study programme Economics of Business (Master’s degree), language of training is Ukrainian.

Master in Economics of Business is a new generation of highly qualified economists who possess an innovative way of thinking, systematic knowledge and advanced competencies in the field of Economics, who are able to work successfully in the Ukrainian and foreign companies, state and municipal authorities as heads and leading specialists of economic departments, strategic development departments, in consulting and research organizations, as well as being able to create own successful businesses.

The mission of the study programme Economics of Business (Master’s degree) is to train highly qualified professionals in economics who have modern economic thinking, theoretical knowledge and applied skills, able to solve complex research, innovation and management problems and problems of economic systems on different levels, in particular business structures characterized by uncertainty of conditions and requirements.

We incorporate European approaches and quality standards of higher education. It was the first and the only study programme Economics of Business (Master’s degree) in Ukraine which was accredited at the international level by ZEvA agency, Hannover (Germany). ZEvA’s experts have recognized its compliance with European standards and the Bologna requirements.

Programme requirements (ECTS credits)

In accordance with the Standard on higher education set for the programme Master in Economics, 90 ECTS credits are awarded in total. The curriculum of the study programme Economics of Business (Master’s degree) incorporates: mandatory courses (34 ECTS credits) (course paper - 1 ECTS credit), elective courses (26 ECTS credits). Course paper - 1 ECTS credit. Practical training / Internship - 12 ECTS credits. Master thesis - 18 ECTS credits*.

Educational goals of the Programme

During the training, the applicant receives advanced and systematic knowledge in the field of effective organization of business processes based on knowledge of modern management concepts and its main components. Acquiring the skills of a project approach will allow you to successfully run your own business and lead certain business areas of enterprises.

Features of the program are:

- deep theoretical training, which allows you to comprehensively assess the situation of the business entity and offer original ways to improve it using world experience;

- formation of skills of managerial decision-making in the conditions of uncertainty and variability of external and internal environment;

- formation of creative thinking and creative type of management that best meets the conditions of modern business.

The programme’s educational goals are designed to:

formulate, analyse and synthesize solutions to scientific and practical problems.
develop, justify and make effective decisions on the development of socio-economic systems and management of economic entities.
communicate freely on professional and scientific issues in state and foreign languages orally and in writing.
