On November 5, EU Ambassador to Ukraine Matti Maasikas had an online visit to Alfred Nobel University
The Ambassador held talks with Rector of Alfred Nobel University Sergii Kholod and all Vice-Rectors during the online meeting.
Sergii Kholod welcomed the Ambassador and appreciated his online visit to Alfred Nobel University because Alfred Nobel University made sure that students study in a safe environment, so from the outset of pandemic isolation, classes were conducted online through a licensed version of ZOOM program.
Alfred Nobel University is the only higher education institution in Ukraine that has received a grant from the EU COSME Programme and has implemented the EIW3 project "Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs", which is a bridge that connects big business and young entrepreneurs. Therefore, the Ambassador was interested in the prospects of further cooperation and the experience of Alfred Nobel University with EU programmes.
Sergii Kholod also invited the Ambassador to take part in the VI International Nobel Congress, scheduled for summer 2021, and to join a unique event – Unification Day of Students from Europe, America, Asia and Africa, which was started at Alfred Nobel University.
During his virtual visit to Alfred Nobel University, Matti Maasikas gave a lecture to students of English-medium programmes on "Prospects for the development of relations between Ukraine and the EU" and shared interesting information about relations between Ukraine and the EU. Of course, the lecture and communication with the Ambassador will be an unforgettable experience for the students of Alfred Nobel University, as Matti Maasikas answered all students' questions.
We look forward to the next meeting at Alfred Nobel University!
