Global Classroom, or Virtual Mobility Program ‘Globally Networked Learning in Hospitality and Tourism’

On 14 September, we started our Virtual Mobility Programme ‘Globally Networked Learning in Hospitality and Tourism’ organized by Professor Dipra Jha, Washington State University, for the students of WSU Pullman, USA, Haxhi Zeka University, Peja, Kosovo and Alfred Nobel University, Dnipro, Ukraine. It all started with the welocing word by Professor Dipra Jha, Professor Enkeleda and Professor Halyna Miasoid. Alfred Nobel University students were introduced by Liza Kurulyak, doing her Hotel & Restaurant Bachelor’s degree programme.

The global classroom is opening new unprecedented opportunities for growth, professional and personal development for students in Tourism and Hospitality at Alfred Nobel University doing Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees alike, as we lets us into a new vision, perspectives and experiences of the renowned speakers.

The first was the lecture by Doctor Kristin Malek, Assistant Professor, Event Management Extension Specialist, Ph.D., Hospitality Administration, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, 2015; MIHTM, international Hospitality and Tourism Management, University of South Carolina, 2012; B.A., Interior Design, The Art Institute of Charlotte, 2008; Assistant Professor, Event Management Extension Specialist; Ph.D., Hospitality Administration, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, 2015; MIHTM, international Hospitality and Tourism Management, University of South Carolina, 2012; B.A., Interior Design, The Art Institute of Charlotte, 2008.

We were all caught by the positive attitude of Doctor Kristina Malek towards the Event industry, event management and design, and learned that there might be diverse options for employment in any field if you speak the event language.

Hope, the students of Alfred Nobel University will absorb the knowledge and the expertise of every lecturer of this course. Let us proceed!
