University of the Future Among the Architects of Ukraine’s New Educational Reality

On May 27, the team from Alfred Nobel University participated in a landmark event — the “Education of New Ukraine” conference, held under the auspices of the Office of the President of Ukraine in Kyiv. This event served as a key platform for discussing transformations that are already reshaping Ukrainian education, from choice and infrastructure to content and safety.
💡 Among the speakers were the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, the Prime Minister, government ministers, the World Bank, international partners, and thought leaders. We are proud to be among those shaping the new educational ecosystem.
🌍 Special focus was placed on expanding partnerships with Coventry University (UK). Alfred Nobel University, together with KNUCA and Coventry University, is forging a new model of international educational collaboration that is already proving effective. During a panel dedicated to dual degree programs, our “City Management” program was repeatedly highlighted as a successful Twinning case study. The result is a five-year cooperation memorandum and new opportunities for students.
🤝 We express our gratitude to:
- Sir Ciaran Devane, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for International Relations, Coventry University
- Richard Tomlinson, Regional Director for Coventry University in the UK and Europe
- Charles Cormack, Head of Cormack Consultancy Group and initiator of the Twinning program
- Oleksandr Smirnov, Twinning Coordinator in Ukraine
- Oleksiy Dniprovy, Rector of KNUCA, our partner in joint projects
📌 Through the Twinning program, 15 students now have the opportunity to study for a Master’s degree in City Management with grant support—a tangible outcome of international partnership and strategic collaboration.
🏅 We are proud that our University team—Rector Serhiy Kholod, Vice-Rector Viktoriia Sokolova, and Program Guarantor Volodymyr Momot—received official recognition from Coventry University and Cormack Consultancy Group for their significant contributions to the Twinning initiative and support for education in Ukraine.
📌 We are grateful for the open dialogue and leadership of:
- Oksen Lisovyi, Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine
- Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation, Education, Science, and Technology
- Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine
- Denys Shmyhal, Prime Minister of Ukraine
