Research Activities of the Department of Foreign Languages

The Department of Foreign Languages actively develops research and methodological activities, with a focus on preparing specialists for professional interaction through language learning.

Key Achievements:

    1. Publications and Conferences

      • 15 articles in leading Ukrainian and international journals, including those indexed in Scopus and WoS
      • 32 abstracts for international and national conferences
      • 26 research conferences
    2. Professional Development
      • Lecturers conduct workshops designed to improve knowledge and skills:
        • Effective Preparation for IELTS
        • Essay Assessment in English: Coherence, Creativity and Language Proficiency
    3. Student Support
      • Lecturers assisted students in preparing over 70 abstracts for 15 research conferences
      • The department provides language consulting for students in English, German, Spanish and French, particularly for presenting research findings and defending theses.
    4. Integration into the Scientific Community
      • Lecturers of the department are registered on Google Scholar and ORCID, with 10 having a h-index of 1 or higher, demonstrating their active research work.

The department continues to support the professional growth of students and lecturers, placing a strong emphasis on international collaboration and modern teaching methods.
