In 2024, Alfred Nobel University became one of four Ukrainian higher education institutions participating in a double degree programme with UK universities and the only university in Ukraine offering an accredited Master’s programme in City Management.

The Twinning Initiative is a strategic programme, supported by the President’s Fund of Ukraine, aimed at implementing double degree programmes to strengthen Ukrainian education in partnership with UK universities, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and Mosaik (UK).

Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead post-war recovery projects based on the Smart City concept and promote the sustainable development of the country, including:

Managing project teams
in urban development and the advancement of smart cities.
Participating in cross-sectoral collaborations
and project management for the development of communities and other areas of public administration.
Exploring new opportunities
within development-oriented companies and institutions, with a vision for collaboratively shaping the smart cities of tomorrow.
Enhasing business models
for industrial and urban ecosystems revitalisation for practical and beneficial implementation.
Developing successful and multi-stakeholder interregional initiatives
in line with best international pracrices.
Collaborating and partnering with international organisations
including UN agencies, the World Bank, and EBRD, along with national, regional, and municipal planning and development agencies.

English proficiency B2-C1 with an IELTS certificate
studying certain courses in English and preparing for the IELTS certification over 1.5 years will result in a high level of professional language proficiency
Internships
at the International Business School and in 50+ Ukrainian state and business organisations, government agencies, and local self-government bodies with the opportunity of a monthly internship at the European campus of Coventry University
Two European master’s degrees
from Alfred Nobel University (Ukraine) with a European supplement, which is 100% recognised in 128 countries, and from Coventry University (United Kingdom), recognised in more than 130 countries

Through collaborative activities and real case studies, you will learn to solve complex situations in real-life environments.

Practice-oriented approach
Case studies, workshops, interactive sessions, and mentorship to develop practical project management skills
Innovative courses, methods, and technologies
Design thinking, AI systems, green innovations, and art therapy combined with VR and AR technologies in Fusion-room sessions to achieve a deep understanding of the learning materials
Leadership and social responsibility
Knowledge, skills, and tools for managing leadership strategies and social responsibility in regional and urban development in line with the Global Sustainable Development Goals

You only pay 10% of the total tuition cost for the City Management programme

Tuition fees for similar programmes at UK universities range from £11,000 to £18,000 per year. With the Twinning initiative for Ukrainian citizens, 90% of the tuition cost is covered by an international grant.
