In September 2007, rector Borys Kholod signed the Magna Charta Universitatum during a visit to the University of Bologna, which became a milestone for the development of the Alfred Nobel University. The MCU defines the fundamental principles that should guide universities to ensure the development of education and innovation in a rapidly changing world. The purpose of the MCU is to follow the most important values of university traditions and to promote close ties between universities in Europe.

On June 30, 2021, Borys Kholod signed the new version of the MCU during online celebrations.

And now, on September 16, 2022, a historical event happens in the life of Alfred Nobel University!
