A large number of people came to the Alfred Nobel Planet Memorial Park Complex to pay their respects and say goodbye to Borys Kholod, Founder and President of Alfred Nobel University, Honoured Scientist and Engineer of Ukraine, Doctor of Economics, Professor.
The terrible news of Borys Kholod’s sudden death shocked the whole country. The news was received with great sadness by all who personally knew Borys Kholod in Ukraine and abroad.
Friends, acquaintances, partners, students and alumni came from different parts of Ukraine and the world to say goodbye to Borys Kholod. Among them are rectors of higher education institutions Oleksandr Pokanevych, president of Kyiv Medical University, representatives of the board of rectors of Dnipro higher education institutions, deputies and officials Gleb Pryhunov, Mariia Pustovaia, Ivan Kulichenko, Valerii Tsiupa, founder of the International Cyber Academy, Oleg Vasylenko, honorary consul of Brazil in Dnipro, Serhii Voit, Director General of the State Enterprise ‘Production Association Yuzhny Mashinbuilding Plant named after A.M. Makarov’, Konstantyn Zavhorodnii, Deputy Director General of the State Enterprise ‘Production Association Yuzhny Mashinbuilding Plant named after A.M. Makarov’, Borys Markov, head of the ATB Corporation, Andriy Zdesenko, head of the Biosphere Corporation, representatives of the Leonid Kuchma Presidential Foundation ‘Ukraina’, public figures and graduates of the Alfred Nobel University.
Those present could not hold back their tears, it was a great loss for everyone who knew Borys Kholod and worked with him.
Borys Kholod was an innovator and strategist. His initiatives were of a strategic nature, as he was a man of planetary scale.
His main lifework was to create a new type of educational institution. In 1993, he founded the Alfred Nobel University (formerly called the Dnipropetrovsk Academy of Management, Business and Law), which in a short time became one of the best higher education institutions in Ukraine, well known far beyond its borders. The mission of the University, defined by Borys Kholod, is to spread educational and scientific values of the 21st century, to promote the global integration of Ukraine. He did everything for education and peace for the equal opportunities of everyone on planet Earth.
All his ideas and plans will be implemented in the loving memory of Borys Kholod and will change the world for the better.
