Kicking off the 38th Annual International Conference for Young Scientists and Students!

On April 14, 2025, Alfred Nobel University (Dnipro, Ukraine) successfully held the 38th Annual International Conference for Young Scientists and Students under the title “Transformation of Economic Systems and Institutions in the New Geostrategic Realities.”
This significant academic event brought together participants from Ukraine, Poland, Vietnam, and other countries, reaffirming the university’s commitment to fostering international scientific dialogue and collaboration.
The Plenary Session was officially opened by Prof. Svitlana Fedulova, Head of the Global Economics Department, and Prof. Anatolii Zadoia, Vice-Rector for Quality Assurance of the Educational Process.
The plenary session was skillfully moderated by Prof. Alisa Mahdich and Assoc. Prof. Ruslan Kliuchnyk.
Distinguished contributions to the plenary session included:
- Prof. Vitalina Komirna (Doctor of Economics, Charitable Organization “InMarket”, Poland) presented her analysis on “Ukrainian Business in Poland and Economic Transformation: Why It Matters for Ukraine.”
- Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Huong (Head of the Department of Scientific Management and International Cooperation, Academy of Journalism and Communication, Vietnam) addressed “The Relationship between the State and the Market in the Socialist-Oriented Market Economy in Vietnam.”
- Le Hai Yen and Nguyen Hung Tien, both MSc holders and PhD candidates at the Center for Executive Education, Hanoi School of Business and Management (Vietnam National University), shared joint research on “Social Security and Entrepreneurial Responses Among Mid-Career Media Professionals Under Vietnam’s Bureaucratic Reforms.”
- Prof. Serhii Kuzminov, Full Professor at the Global Economics Department of Alfred Nobel University, concluded the session with his compelling report on “Europe’s Military Budgeting: Shifts in Policy and Ideology.”
The conference was organized within the framework of the EU co-funded international project Erasmus+ ‘Highlighting the New European Security Architecture in Teaching and Research’ (Grant No. 101126795 – EuSANU – ERASMUS-JMO-2023-HEI-TCH-RSCH).
A key highlight of the event was the Round Table Discussion on ‘New Architecture of European Security in Modern Geostrategic Realities’, held in collaboration with participants of the professional development program ‘Economic Interdependence of Countries and Military Conflicts. Business in the 21st century’.
Following the conclusion of the conference, a two-volume publication of academic proceedings was released, showcasing the rich intellectual contributions of all participants.
