EuСompet – Europe’s Competitiveness in the New Global Economy
In July 2024, the European Commission approved the second application of the Department of Global Economics to participate in the Erasmus+ project Jean Monnet Module.
In 2024, the department will start implementing its second international Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module project Europe’s Competitiveness in the New Global Economy, project No. 101176059 – EuCompet – ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH.
The EuCompet project aims to promote excellence in teaching and research by exploring ways to ensure Europe’s competitiveness in the new global economy and strengthening the European knowledge hub at Alfred Nobel University.
The duration of the project is three years.
The proposed EuCompet project includes:
1. Introduction of an interdisciplinary European Studies course Europe’s Competitiveness in the New Global Economy for third and fourth-year bachelor’s students majoring in International Economic Relations (Ukrainian and English bachelor’s programmes), students of other programmes, as well as other categories of interested persons;
2. Introduction of European Readings at Alfred Nobel University with the presentation of the annual monitoring report Ukraine and the European Focus on Strengthening Competitiveness in the New Global Economy;
3. Creation of virtual content for panel discussions for professional and academic internships under the Strategic Autonomy and EU Competitiveness in the New Global Economy programme.
Target Audience: The project is offered to third and fourth-year bachelor’s students majoring in International Economic Relations (both Ukrainian and English bachelor’s programmes), students of other programmes, as well as other categories of interested persons.
Upon successful completion of the EuCompet international project, all participants will receive Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module certificates indicating the number of credits and hours of study and/or professional and academic internships.
