France Welcomes our Psychology Lecturers Again!

As part of the international project ‘Rehabilitation Specialists-2025’, the second internship of Associate Professors from the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy at Alfred Nobel University – Oksana Bayer, Alina Yudina and Nataliia Hrisenko – in medical centres in France has now concluded.
This time, they were delighted to revisit the André Lalande Physical Rehabilitation Centre (Noa, France), where they had their first internship exactly a year ago and had already found true professionals and wonderful friends. The main part of this year’s internship took place at our new partner institution, the Hospital Centre of Lorquin (Centre Hospitalier de Lorquin) in French Lorraine.
The intensive, month-long programme provided in-depth exposure to key practices and technologies used in centres that support and assist adults and children with psychiatric conditions, diagnostic teams for autism spectrum disorders in adults, support groups for families of individuals with schizophrenia, early intervention systems (including perinatal support) for children with developmental differences and crisis assistance in emergency situations and disasters.
All these experiences are truly inspiring and motivate us to develop similar initiatives in our country. Our lecturers are sincerely grateful to their French colleagues for their warm welcome and look forward to continuing collaboration – now involving our students as well!
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the HR Director of the Hospital Centre of Lorquin, Ms Valérie EsselinAstier, and the Director of the Centre, Mr Olivier Astier, as well as to the programme coordinators on the French side, Mr Adrian Tudor and Ms Brigitte Tétard. We also extend our gratitude to Mr Jacques Forgeron, co-president of the Federation Exchanges France Ukraine (FEFU), Mr Patrice Filloux, Director of the André Lalande Physical Rehabilitation Centre, Mr Philippe Godillot, and all those who contributed to making this internship possible!
A special thank you to Ms Michaela Babiu, Head of International Projects at the Central and Eastern European Bureau of the World Agency of Francophone Universities, for providing financial support to our lecturers!
This internship was organised by the Centre for French Language Programmes at Alfred Nobel University in collaboration with our international partners. And now, we are preparing for the next internship for our psychology and philology students, which will take place in France in March. This will be the first independent professional internship for our students within the ‘Rehabilitation Specialists–2025’ international project, meticulously prepared by a large Franco-Ukrainian team to support our students and our country!
To be continued!
