Successful Completion of the COIL Project “Managing Global Teams”
Our intensive 6-week marathon connecting Ukraine, France, and Brazil has officially come to an end! It has been an incredible journey of professional growth, working alongside students from the University of Applied Sciences Henri Poincaré (France) and São Paulo State University (Brazil).
The collaborative project transformed from initial shy video introductions on Padlet into the development of profound analytical research. The final weeks served as a true masterclass for success in a global business environment.
Key Research Areas
Student project topics touched upon the most pressing challenges of modern management:
- Gender equality and inclusivity in international teams.
- Leadership and motivation strategies within an intercultural context.
- Work-life balance: a comparative analysis of legal privacy protections in France, warnings against the culture of overworking in Brazil, and the phenomenal resilience of Ukrainians under external pressure.
Practical Outcomes
One of the most valuable deliverables was the creation of a custom “Conflict Resolution Playbook”. Students learned to identify “friction points” (language barriers, feedback nuances, silence in digital chats) and derived a golden formula for success: PAUSE – CLARIFY – COMMIT.
The COIL Philosophy
During the final meeting, participants agreed that the COIL acronym now holds a special meaning for them:
- C – Connect: bridging hearts and ideas.
- O – Ouverture: openness to new cultures.
- I – Inclusão: the inclusion of every voice.
- L – L’étoile: the star of our collective success, shining across time zones.

Merci! Obrigada! Дякуємо! Thank you! While certificates and new horizons await, the most important outcome is the confidence of our graduates that no borders exist for them in the professional world.
