Education:

Graduated from Donetsk Institute of Soviet Trade, majoring in Economics of Trade, and Poltava University of Consumer Cooperatives, majoring in Professional Education, with a qualification of teacher of special disciplines in Commodity Analysis and Commercial Activities.

She defended her doctoral dissertation on the theme: "Strategy of ensuring the competitiveness of enterprises - manufacturers of consumer goods" in the specialized council D 11.055.01 of Donetsk National University of Economics and Trade named after M.I. Tugan-Baranovsky of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine in speciality 08.06.01 "Economics, Organization and Management of Eenterprises.

Subjects taught: Methodology and Organization of Research, Trade Economics, International Trade, Commodity Studies (Food Products).

She is head of the academic school "Research of ways to increase the competitiveness of domestic enterprises", supervises the preparation of graduate, post-graduate and post-doctoral students. Supervised the sucessfull defence of one post-doctoral and 5 PhD students.

Has:

7 utility model patents and 14 copyright certificates for research work;

10 monographs and 5 textbooks with the stamp "Recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine";

more than 150 scientific works.

Subjects taught: Commodity Analysis (Theoretical Foundations of Commodity Analysis), Fundamentals of Ecology and Consumer Product Safety.

Graduated from the Ukrainian State University of Chemical Technology, majoring in Chemical Technology of Fuel and Carbon Materials, and Alfred Nobel University, majoring in Commodity Analysis and Commercial Activities.

At the Ukrainian State Research Institute for Carbon chemistry (UKHIN) under the Ministry of Industrial Policy of Ukraine, she defended her PhD thesis on "Intensification of the gasification process of low-metamorphosed coal of Ukraine using metallurgical slag". Speciality 05.17.07 "Chemical technology of fuel, fuel and lubricants".

Subjects taught: Product Science (Fuel and Lubricants), Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Nutrition Physiology, Quality Management.

She is the author of lectures, has more than 85 academic and methodological publications, co-author of 1 textbook recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, has 2 monographs, 1 utility model patent, and 3 certificates of copyright for academic work.

She is a member of the International Society of Commodity and Technology (IGVT) and the Ukrainian Society of Commodity and Technology (UTTT).

She has practical experience in a certified oil quality laboratory of UkrSEPRO.

The Department teaches International Trade and Entrepreneurship, as well as other spheres of Economics, Marketing and Management studied at the University.

The principal direction of department’s research activities is «Formation of Quality Control Mechanisms and Enhancement of Enterprise Competitiveness».

The Department was established in 1998 (Order № 75-U of 16.06.98, renamed by Order №127-A of 29.05.2007) to provide training for Bachelors (specialization “Commodity Analysis and Trade”), Specialists (specialization “Commodity Analysis and Commercial Activities”), Masters (specialization “Commodity Analysis and Commercial Activities” and “Commodity Analysis and Expertise in Customs”).

Significant events:

1998 – Training Bachelors of “Trade” was licensed.

2002 - Training Bachelors of “Trade” was accredited.

First Bachelors of “Trade” graduated.

Training Specialists in “Commodity Analysis and Commercial Activities” was licensed.

2003 - Training Specialists in “Commodity Analysis and Commercial Activities” was accredited.

First Specialists graduated.

2008 - Training Masters in “Commodity Analysis and Commercial Activities” was licensed.

10th Anniversary of the Department.

5 years from the 1st Department’s graduation.

2009 – First full-time Masters graduated.

2011 - First part-time Masters graduated.

Since 2010 - Annual International Conference for Students and Young Scientists “Formation of Quality Control Mechanisms and Enhancement of Enterprise Competitiveness” has been held.

2013 – Training Masters in “Commodity Analysis and Expertise in Customs” was licensed.

2013 - 15th anniversary of the Department.

The School of Research operating at the Department is focused on the Formation of Quality Control Mechanisms and Enhancement of Enterprise Competitiveness.

H. Ryzhkova. Problems of implementing logistics systems at retail trade enterprises.

O. Kuzmenko. Resource potential management at the enterprise.

O. Serheeva. Research and examination of consumer goods quality.

The academic achievements are confirmed with received patents. In 2013, Patent of Ukraine for industrial design “Dynamic footrest” was received and three patents – for utility models: smoked sausage “Nobelivska”, liver sausage “Dniprovska”, prepared meat minced cutlet “Pikantni”. In 2014 Patents for utility models of ice cream “Soniachne” and cutlet “Zhuravushka” were acquired.
