Achievements of the ANU Delegation at the National Model United Nations Canada 2025!
The team of Alfred Nobel University, as part of the Alliance of Ukrainian Universities, earned the prestigious Honorable Mention delegation award.

Alfred Nobel University was represented by:
Vlada Bazylieva (Law student) — United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA) committee
Committee topics included:
- Safe and sustainable use of the world’s oceans
- Legal mechanisms for protecting natural reserves
Mariana Vielcheva (Philology student) — United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) committee
The committee discussed:
- Indigenous knowledge and climate change adaptation
- Safeguarding cultural heritage through language preservation
The trainer, Alona Bila, provided methodological support and diplomatic guidance and coordinated the team’s work, helping the delegates build an effective strategy for speeches, argumentation and international cooperation.
The Honorable Mention award highlights the delegates’ strong preparation, professionalism, and consistent diplomatic performance throughout all five committee sessions. It shows their ability to work in line with UN standards, collaborate effectively with international delegations and contribute to constructive debates
This year, particular emphasis was placed on the rights and well-being of Indigenous Peoples, a topic that requires a thoughtful and responsible approach to policy development and international representation
A substantial part of the preparation involved mastering the NMUN Canada 2025 Rules of Procedure, as strict compliance with these standards is essential for effective and impactful participation in the conference.
We are truly proud of our University’s representatives and extend our gratitude to all colleagues and partners who contributed to the preparation and supported this achievement.
